70. Les Escargots

An 1966 animated film by René Laloux.

A farmer tries desperatly to grow lettuce. When he fails after several attempts, he bursts into tears. His tears make the heads of lettuce grow and he decides to hold an onion under his eyes to produce tears and the lettuce eventually begins to grow.
